  • Please read all the instructions carefully before proceeding to step 1
  • All other scanners that are not Zebra are production scanners and should only be used for production iPad's because they are short-range and will not scan from far away

1. Scan the below bar code and wait 5-6 seconds before proceeding to the next
step

2. Scan the below bar code and then go into the iPad Bluetooth settings and
select the serial number of the scanner you are trying to pair

Tips:

  • If no devices show up when trying to pair the scanner turn Bluetooth OFF and ON
    using the toggle button.
  • If there are previous scanners in the Bluetooth list that are not being used you
    can select them by pressing the blue "i" icon at the end of the name. Once selected, you
    will have the following option "Forget This Device" click it to remove it from the list.

3. Once the scanner status is "Connected," scan the below bar code. This bar code is to enable the scanner to do a return (ENTER Key) suffix after every scan so that the user doesn't have to press ENTER on the iPad every time.

IMPORTANT: For all other non Zebra scanners simply press and hold the trigger button to activate
Bluetooth pairing--no need to scan any barcodes.
